Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a resin composition that is highly filled with inorganic filler and that exhibits an excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, and productivity; and to provide a material that evolves little carbon dioxide when subjected to a combustion process and that is useful as a replacement for conventional thermoplastic resins and paper. [Solution] The present invention is a highly filler-loaded resin composition provided by blending, with a prescribed (A) cross copolymer and (B) crystalline polyolefin wherein their total is 100 mass parts, 100-1,000 mass parts and preferably 300-1,000 mass parts of (C) an inorganic filler. This resin composition exhibits an excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, and productivity; evolves little carbon dioxide when subjected to a combustion process; and is useful as a replacement for conventional thermoplastic resins and paper.
