Abstract:

Provided is a resin composition having exceptional impact resistance, tensile characteristics, flexural characteristics, and other such mechanical properties. A resin composition containing a polyarylene sulfide (a), a fluorine-containing copolymer (b), and a compound having a reactive functional group (c), wherein the resin composition is characterized in that the mass ratio (a):(b) of the polyarylene sulfide (a) and the fluorine-containing copolymer (b) is 99:1-40:60, the compound (c) is contained in a quantity of 0.1-35 parts by mass per 100 total parts by mass of the polyarylene sulfide (a) and fluorine-containing copolymer (b), and the tensile elongation at break measured in accordance with ASTM D638 is 15% or higher.
