Abstract:
Provided are a resin decomposition treatment method and a decomposition treatment device with which it is possible to safely and efficiently carry out a decomposition treatment. The resin decomposition treatment device 10 comprises: a cylinder 12; a resin supply part 11 that supplies a thermoplastic resin to the cylinder 12; a screw 12a that conveys the supplied thermoplastic resin and the thermoplastic resin that has been melt plasticized; a liquid supply part 13 that supplies a heated and pressurized liquid into the cylinder, to subject the melt plasticized thermoplastic resin to a decomposition treatment in subcritical state or in a supercritical state; an extrusion part 14 that is provided at the front end of the cylinder 12 and discharges the decomposition product of the thermoplastic resin to the outside of the cylinder; a rotary drive mechanism 15 that rotationally drives the screw 12a; and a reverse flow suppressing mechanism 16 that suppresses reverse flow of the melt plasticized thermoplastic resin inside the cylinder 12.
