Abstract:

A resin dispersion which comprises an organic solvent and dispersed therein solid particles comprising a grafting-modified ethylene/$g(a)-olefin random copolymer having a specific $g(a)-olefin unit content (a), a specific intrinsic viscosity [$g(h)] (b), and a specific polar monomer unit content (h). The dispersion has excellent adhesion when used as an adhesive or heat-sealing material for bonding polyolefins to each other or for bonding a metal to a polyolefin. It is hence effectively used especially as a packaging adhesive, a laminating adhesive, a material for coating materials, or a primer.
