Abstract:
A resin fuel tube which is provided with at least one resin layer that is formed of a resin composition which contains (A) a polypropylene that is polymerized using a metallocene catalyst and (B) a polypropylene-based material that has a melting point of 137-160°C, with the mixing ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) by weight, namely (A)/(B) being within the range from 95/5 to 50/50. The resin layer has a structure wherein a soft structure (Y) that is formed of the component (A) is interposed between crystal structures (X) that are formed of the component (B). Consequently, this resin fuel tube is lightweight and has excellent impact resistance and excellent heat resistance, so that this resin fuel tube can be used in an atmosphere at a temperature of 130°C or more, for example, in an engine room of an automobile, without causing a fuel leakage.
