Abstract:
Provided is a resin impregnation detection device, etc., for detecting impregnation of a resin in a step for impregnating a resin for a coil insulation layer, wherein the resin impregnation detection device can be inserted into a narrow part and is capable of detecting impregnation of a liquid resin, and no metal foreign matter other than an optical fiber is retained in a finished product even after resin impregnation. The present invention is provided with an optical fiber having an FBG sensor part, and a coating resin for coating the FBG sensor part, the coating resin being formed from a resin that softens due to contact with a resin to be detected, and compression strain being imparted to the FBG sensor part by curing shrinkage or by thermal shrinkage from the curing temperature to normal temperature, ,of the coating resin.
