Abstract:
Provided is a resin-integrated carbon fiber sheet 1 in which a resin 4 is partially present at least on a surface of a carbon fiber sheet 2 where a group of carbon fiber filaments are opened and arrayed in parallel in one direction, wherein at least one bridge fiber 3 on average is present per 10 mm2 of the surface of the carbon fiber sheet 2 in a direction intersecting the carbon fiber sheet, and the bridge fiber 3 is bonded and fixed to the carbon fiber sheet 2 via the resin 4 on the surface. Accordingly, provided are: a resin-integrated carbon fiber sheet that has high strength in the width direction of a carbon fiber sheet, that exhibits low cleavability, and that realizes improved handleability; and a production method for the same.
