The objective of the present invention is to provide a new resin packaging bag with which heat sterilization is possible after vacuum packaging, the contents of which can be cooked in a microwave oven without being transferred to a vessel, and with which the package itself can be used as a vessel. This resin packaging bag for microwave ovens is a packaging bag in which the peripheral part serves as a seal, and is characterized in that: the front side of the packaging bag comprises one resin film (2) and the reverse side comprises one resin sheet (1); and the resin film (2) and resin sheet (1) comprise materials that, when a package formed by sealing moisture-containing content between the resin film (2) and the resin sheet (1) is heated in a microwave with the reverse side resin sheet (1) serving as the bottom surface, are deformed by the heat and pressure of the steam generated from the content such that the reverse side resin sheet (1) forms a recessed shape, and said recessed shape is completely or partially maintained, even after heating has been completed.
