Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a resin tray and to a method for the manufacture thereof. The material of which this resin tray is made has a sea-island structure of a polypropylene island component and a polyethylene sea component in prescribed proportions. An internally hollow blow-molded product (60) having a first side part (61) corresponding to a first mold (31) and another side part (62) corresponding to another mold (32) which are joined along the parting line (63) is fabricated, and is then separated along the parting line (63), to obtain resin trays (10) individually constituted by the first side part (61) and the other side part (62). Because the resin trays have the aforedescribed sea-island structure, the resin trays can be easily separated along the parting line (63), affording higher productivity than with vacuum molding or press molding.
