Title:
RESISTANCE-SHUNT INTRINSIC JOSEPHSON JUNCTION DEVICE AND ON-CHIP DETECTOR USING IT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2001/082387
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A resistance-shunt intrinsic Josephson junction device incorporating a resistance element (shunt resistance) for splitting current flowing to an intrinsic Josephson junction of copper-oxide high-temperature superconductor, and using it; and an on-chip detector using it. The resistance-shunt intrinsic Josephson junction device comprises a BSCCO (1) formed with protrusions, and shunt resistance materials (3) formed on the sides of the protrusions of the BSCCO (1), wherein current I is supplied from the top surfaces of the protrusions and current is led out from the BSCCO (1).
