Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resistance spot welding joint and a resistance spot welding method therefor. The present invention is a resistance spot welding joint by which two or more steel plates, including at least one high-strength steel plate, are resistance spot welded. The high-strength steel plate comprises a component composition containing, in mass%, C at 0.05-0.6%, Si at 0.1-2.0%, Mn at 1.5-4.0%, and P at 0.10% or less, with the remainder containing Fe and unavoidable impurities. The hardness of the softest region of a nugget is 90% or less with respect to the hardness of a heat-affected section thereof. Moreover, the organization of the softest region of the nugget is tempered martensite. Furthermore, the average number density of carbides with a particle diameter of 100 nm or more in the softest region of the nugget is 10 or more per 5 μm2 plate cross-section.
