Abstract:
This resistance temperature sensor (1) includes a thin-film resistance temperature element (3) which has a resistance value of 5000 Ω to 15000 Ω and which is accommodated inside a metallic frame body (2) with an inorganic insulating powder (11) interposed therebetween, wherein voids of the inorganic insulating powder (11) are filled with helium gas. In this resistance temperature sensor (1), Joule heat generated in a temperature-measuring resistance wire (5) due to a measurement current is reduced and the discharge of the Joule heat to the outside is promoted, whereby a plus-side temperature measurement error caused by the Joule heat is suppressed in an ultra-low temperature region.
