Abstract:
Provided are a shunt resistor to which a busbar, substrate, and the like, can be easily fixed with sufficient strength and for which minimal electrode processing is sufficient and a current detector including the shunt resistor. A shunt resistor (10) has a structure in which screwing members (bolt (14) and nut (15)) that are separate members from a resistor electrode (12) are fixed to the electrode (12). Further, a current detector includes the shunt resistor (10), which has at least one pair of the electrodes (12). One screwing member (14) that is a separate member from the electrodes and is fixed to at least one electrode (12) is screw fastened to another screwing member (15) that forms a pair with the one screwing member with a prescribed intervening member (20) disposed between the one screwing member and the other screwing member. Here, it is preferable for the prescribed intervening member (20) to be a substrate having a current detection circuit mounted thereon and/or a busbar.
