Abstract:

A resolver according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a stator unit in which a single or more-phase excitation coil and a single or more-phase output coil are arranged; and a rotor unit which is arranged on an inner center area of the stator unit at a preset distance from the stator unit and rotates around a shaft so as to change a gap permeance with the stator unit, wherein the stator unit comprises a back yoke unit for forming a ring-shaped body, and the rotor unit comprises a ring-shaped body having a central hole through which the shaft is inserted and a plurality of salient poles formed on the periphery of the ring-shaped body, wherein the back yoke unit and the salient poles have a relationship satisfying formula 1: Wb ≥ 0.66 x Wr (where Wb is the width of the back yoke unit; and Wr is the width of the salient poles, which is the distance from the top of the salient poles to the central hole). As such, the present invention improves the accuracy of measurement of a resolver, reduces production costs, and enables a developer to design the resolver easily.
