Title:
RESONANT-TYPE SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/105077
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable resonant-type switching power supply apparatus, which is made possible by preventing resonant current from being reversed during periods when switches are turned ON. A wiring voltage to be generated on a first wiring (P1) at the primary side of a transformer (T) is detected by a wiring voltage detection unit comprising a second wiring (P2), and a current flowing through a series circuit that constitutes a resonant circuit is detected by a resonant current detection unit comprising an auxiliary capacitor (Cs) and a resistor (Rs). A control/drive circuit (14) detects the timing at which the polarity of the detected wiring voltage reverses, and evaluates in advance the point of time at which the polarity of a resonant current having the phase thereof delayed from the wiring voltage reverses. The control/drive circuit (14) forces, upon detecting that a reversal of polarity of the resonance current is just about to start from the output of the resonance current detection unit, any switches (Q1, Q2) that are turned on to be turned off.
