Abstract:
A resonator (10) is provided with: a vibration unit (120) which has two parts (121A, 121B) that vibrate in opposite phases from each other; a holding part (140) which is formed so as to surround at least part of the vibration unit (120); and a holding unit (110) which supports the boundary between the two parts (121A, 121B) and connects the vibration unit (120) to the holding part (140). A frequency adjustment film (E3) is provided in a region on the surface of the vibration unit (120), between: a connection part (111B, 112B) of the holding unit (110) at which the holding unit (110) and the vibration unit (120) are connected; and an end part which is opposite from the connection part (111B, 112B) along the boundary between the two parts (121A, 121B).
