Abstract:
The present invention provides a resource adjustment method, apparatus, and system. The resource adjustment method comprises: receiving, by a controller in a software defined optical network (SDON), a resource adjustment request sent by a user-side device; determining a resource management policy corresponding to the resource adjustment request, and issuing a resource adjustment request to a network-side device in the SDON according to the resource management policy, the resource management policy being used for managing a resource requested by the resource adjustment request; receiving a response message fed back by the network-side device; and processing the resource requested in the resource adjustment request according to the response message. The present invention resolves the issue in the related art in which the requirement of multi-service concurrent processing in current SDN networks cannot be met which easily, leading to resource allocation conflicts, thereby effectively improving resource adjustment efficiency and success rate.
