Abstract:
In order to efficiently allocate communication resources of an optical transmission system, this resource allocation device comprises: a resource calculation unit that derives communication resources demanded of a path on the basis of communication resources demanded in communications between opposing terminals via the path, and that calculates the communication resources to be allocated to the path on the basis of communication resources allocable to the path and the derived path-demanded communication resources; and an interface that transmits, to a communication device that sets communication resources to a path, the communication resources allocated to the path.
