Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a resource allocation method and apparatus, and a communication device. The method comprises: determining spectral efficiencies corresponding to respective downlink control information (DCI) formats at one or more control channel element (CCE) aggregation levels, and generating a mapping table of the DCI formats, the spectral efficiencies and the CCE aggregation levels; and determining from the mapping table, according to a first spectral efficiency of a downlink physical control channel (PDCCH) and a DCI format of first DCI carried over the PDCCH, a CCE aggregation level of the PDCCH. The CCE aggregation level is dynamically determined according to DCI formats, such that PDCCH resources can be appropriately allocated, thereby increasing the number of users allocated to a single slot, and effectively improving the capacity performance of the system.
