Disclosed is a resource allocation method, comprising: when determining that a state of a customer premise equipment (CPE) is online, a server sending a first flow table so as to receive an authentication message sent by an optical line terminal (OLT) based on the first flow table; after the authentication message is passed, acquiring a virtual local area network (VLAN) resource, corresponding to the authentication message, of the CPE; and updating, based on the VLAN resource, the first flow table to a second flow table for representing a VLAN resource allocation mode, and sending the second flow table, so that the OLT and an optical network terminal (ONT) carry out, according to the second flow table, VLAN resource allocation on the CPE.
