Abstract:
Disclosed are a resource configuration method and a network device, related to the technical field of communications, and allowing the targeted configuration and indication of a transmission resource when an IAB node employs a resource multiplexing scheme that is non-time-division multiplexing. The present application, with a first node reporting to a second node the MT and DU resource multiplexing capabilities of the IAB node and a criterion that needs to be satisfied by the resource multiplexing capabilities supported by same, is applicable in allowing the second node to configure and indicate a transmission resource in a targeted manner on the basis of the MT and DU capabilities of the IAB node combined with a transmission parameter requirement. Hence, the resource utilization rate when the first node is engaged in communication is increased, and communication efficiency is increased.
