Abstract:
In order to distribute resources appropriately between versions in a system in which multiple versions of a service are provided in parallel by means of a process for transitioning between versions of the service, this resource setting control device is equipped with a resource setting change determination means and a resource setting change means. The resource setting change determination means extracts a load pattern for service requests for a prescribed period, from a request history in an operation information storage means that stores a) request histories, which include information about the group and the requested version of a service request requesting one of the multiple versions of a service, and the resource usage amount during execution of the service, and b) a standard pattern for the service request load, and when a change of equal to or greater than a prescribed range with respect to the standard pattern is detected, the resource setting change determination means updates the standard pattern. When a change in the load pattern is detected, the resource setting change means determines and outputs a resource request amount for each version, on the basis of the peak value for the resource usage amount during the prescribed period and the number of server devices providing the version.
