Abstract:
This respiration sensing device (1) has a sensor member (2) for detecting the respiration of a subject (Obj) and a main body part (8) for performing signal-processing on the detected respiration. The sensor member (2) is provided with a piezoelectric film sensor (3), first and second electrodes (4A, 4B), insulation sheets (5A, 5B), and shields (6A, 6B), and is mounted on a body surface of the subject (Obj) from a site (K) corresponding to the processus xiphoideus of the sternum of the subject (Obj) to a site (M) corresponding to the anticardium. The respiration sensing device (1) detects the respiration of the subject (Obj) by detecting relative changes in the site (K) corresponding to the processus xiphoideus and the site (M) corresponding to the anticardium.
