RESVERATROL MULTIMER HAVING SELECTIVE INHIBITORY ACTIVITY FOR HEPATITIS C VIRUS GENOME REPLICATION, AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/126129
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a resveratrol multimer having a selective inhibitory activity for hepatitis C virus genome replication, and a use thereof, and more particularly, to a resveratrol multimer having a selective inhibitory activity for hepatitis C virus genome replication, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating hepatitis C, containing the same. The resveratrol multimer according to the present invention has very low hepatotoxicity and a remarkable effect of selectively inhibiting hepatitis C virus genome replication, and thus is expected to be useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition or a nutraceutical composition for preventing, alleviating or treating hepatitis C.
