Abstract:
A retardation film comprises one layer or multiple layers, at least one of which includes a composition containing a polyester resin having an arylated fluorene in a side chain. Said layer is subjected to stretching and is configured so that the relationship between the in-plane phase difference values Ro(450) and Ro(550) of said layer which contains the polyester resin is Ro(450)/Ro(550) ≥ 1.22.
