Abstract:

A reticle unit used for optical devices such as a rifle scope comprises red and green light sources for emitting red light and green light, a disc-shaped reticle substrate on which a diffraction grating is formed in the substantially central part of the substantially disc shape surface, and red light and green light mirror members for collecting light emitted from the red and green light sources, directing the light into the inside of the reticle substrate from the corresponding side surface of the reticle substrate, irradiating the diffraction grating therewith, and allowing the light of the first order reflected and diffracted at the diffraction grating in the normal direction of the diffraction grating to exit.
