Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a retinol-containing oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic material which exhibits excellent emulsion stability while stably holding retinol, has a good fitting feeling when applied, and has a fresh and refreshing feeling of use. The present invention relates to an oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic material which contains (a) retinol, (b) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer, and (c) an oil component, and which is characterized in that the blending quantity of the oil component (c) is 10-40 mass% relative to the overall quantity of the cosmetic material and the oil component (c) contains an ester oil at a quantity of 50 mass% or more relative to the overall quantity of the oil component.
