This reverse input blocking clutch comprises: an input shaft 13 to which rotational torque is input; an output shaft 14 from which rotational torque is output; a stationary-side member that is restrained from rotating; a plurality of cylindrical rollers 17 that, by being engaged and disengaged between the stationary-side member and the output shaft 14, control the blockage of rotational torque that is reversely input from the output shaft 14 and the transmission of rotational torque that is input from the input shaft 13; and a retainer 19 that retains the cylindrical rollers 17 between the stationary-side member and the output shaft 14. The stationary-side member includes: a cup-shaped outer race 15 that houses the retainer 19, the cylindrical rollers 17, and a torque transmission part 44 that couples the input shaft 13 and the output shaft 14; and a side plate 16 to which the outer race 15 is attached, and that is fixed to an attachment site. The side plate 16 is arranged on the output side, and the outer race 15 is arranged on the input side.
