Abstract:
Provided is a reverse input cutoff clutch in which the stability of operation is unlikely to be affected even when resin is used as a material for a constituent member. The present invention is characterized by being provided with an input member (70) that rotates about a rotation axis, an output member (40) that rotates about the rotation axis, a clutch (50) that rotates about the rotation axis together with the input member (70), and a resistance member that applies resistance to the rotation of the clutch (50), wherein: when the input member (70) and the clutch (50) are at a first relative position, the clutch (50) and the output member (40) are separated from each other; when the input member (70) and the clutch (50) are at a second relative position that is a relative position different from the first relative position in the rotation direction and the rotation axis direction, the clutch (50) and the output member (40) are engaged with each other; and when the rotation of the clutch (50) is delayed with respect to the rotation of the input member (70) because the clutch (50) receives resistance from the resistance member, the input member (70) and the clutch (50) are moved from the first relative position to the second relative position.
