Abstract:
In the present invention, provided is a means for: when only a reverse-input torque is applied, locking an output shaft (2) by forming a plurality of wedge-shaped spaces (14), which become gradually narrower on both sides in the circumferential-direction, between the output shaft (2) and an outer wheel (3) the rotation of which is restricted, and by pressing a pair of rollers (9) which are fit into the wedge-shaped spaces (14) into the narrow portion of the wedge-shaped spaces (14) by using a spring (10); and maintaining a lock-released state by inserting a column part (6a) of a rotation maintainer (6) and a column part (7a) of a control maintainer (7) at positions that oppose the spring (10) in the circumferential direction with the rollers (9) interposed therebetween, and by pressing the rollers (9) toward the wide portion of the wedge-shaped spaces (14) using the column parts (6a, 7a) by relatively rotating both maintainers (6, 7) with actuator driving. As a result of the foregoing, the phenomenon of the output shaft (2) relocking when an input torque and a reverse input torque are simultaneously applied in the same direction can be prevented.
