Abstract:
A reverse osmosis composite membrane 100, having a reverse osmosis membrane 104 provided on a porous support body 102, said membrane 104 containing a crosslinked polyamide and carbon nanotubes 110. The carbon nanotubes 110 contained in the reverse osmosis membrane 104 have been defibrated in the crosslinked polyamide. The distribution of the closest distances between carbon nanotubes 110 in the reverse osmosis membrane 104 has a peak within the range of the thickness of the reverse osmosis membrane, and the half-width of the peak is equal to or less than the thickness of the reverse osmosis membrane 104.
