Abstract:
Provided are a reverse osmosis device, to be disposed in a stage prior to a reverse osmosis module constituting an existing seawater desalination plant and easily capable of increasing recovery efficiency by connecting pipes to each other, and a seawater desalination plant provided with the same. A reverse osmosis device 1 is provided with: a plurality of first pressure vessels 12 filled with a plurality of reverse osmosis membrane elements 13 and accommodated in parallel in a single container 11; a supply water connection pipe 16 one end of which is connected to inlets of the first pressure vessels 12 and that supplies pressurized supply water; a concentrated water high pressure connection pipe 18 one end of which is connected to first outlets of the first pressure vessels 12, that passes high pressure concentrated water therethrough, and wherein the supply water has been separated into filtered water and high pressure concentrated water by the reverse osmosis membrane elements 13; and a filtered water connection pipe 17 one end of which is connected to second outlets of the first pressure vessel 12 and that passes filtered water therethrough. A supply water connection pipe connector 16a, a concentrated water high pressure connection pipe connector 18a, and a filtered water connection pipe connector 17a are positioned on the same side surface of a container 11.
