Abstract:
A reversible recording medium according to an embodiment of the present disclosure has alternately laminated therein insulating layers and recording layers that include a reversible thermosensitive coloring composition and a first photo-thermal conversion agent. In this reversible recording medium, the coloring color tones of the respective reversible thermosensitive coloring compositions are different in each recording layer, and the absorption wavelengths of the first photo-thermal conversion agents are different in each recording layer. This reversible recording medium is further provided with a heat generation layer that includes a second photo-thermal conversion agent that has an absorption wavelength different from the absorption wavelengths of the first photo-thermal conversion agents included in the respective recording layers.
