Abstract:

[Problem] To provide highly safe reversibly thermochromic composite fibres, which reversibly change colour upon a change in temperature, does not allow flames to spread readily even once ignited, and has excellent flame retardance. [Solution] Core/sheath-type reversibly thermochromic composite fibres obtained by providing: a core containing a resin, a reversibly thermochromic pigment and a flame retardant; and a sheath containing a resin and a flame retardant.
