Abstract:
The invention relates to a device or a method that can be carried out with said device for measuring and regulating the revolution speed of motors, more particularly universal motors. The induced voltage (Urw) of a motor winding is measured proportionally to the revolution speed. After undergoing signal processing, said signal is used as feedback for controlling the revolution speed. The signal controls a control element (triac or thyristor) and the control element controls phasewise the voltage of a main winding or armature winding and possibly an auxiliary winding of a motor and, hence, the revolution speed of a motor.
