Abstract:
An RF surface coil unit and a magnetic resonance imaging system comprising same are disclosed. The disclosed RF surface coil unit may be a volumetric RF surface coil and comprises a plurality of RF coil elements formed on a cylindrical base, wherein at least one pair of RF coil elements among the RF coil elements face one another, are electrically connected, and thus can form one channel.
