Abstract:
The present invention relates to an RF therapeutic device and a method for controlling same, the RF therapeutic device comprising: an RF generation unit for generating RF energy; a plurality of RF electrodes connected to the RF generation unit through an RF circuit and selectively inserted into intracorporeal tissue to transfer the RF energy to the intracorporeal tissue; and a sensing unit for detecting a loss of the RF energy transferred to the intracorporeal tissue, the loss resulting from the impedance characteristic of the intracorporeal tissue.
