Abstract:
A traveling unit having a Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID) tag mounted therein travels each of two routes that extend with a prescribed distance therebetween. A reader-writer device 10 has a circuit board 12 having a loop antenna 16 formed on the principal plane thereof, and performs wireless communication with the RFID tag. The loop antenna 16 includes series-connected coil conductors CIL11, CIL12, each of which has an opening OP11, OP12. The openings OP11, OP12 have substantially the same area, and the distance between the openings OP11 ,OP12 substantially matches the distance between the two routes.
