Abstract:
A rib-reinforced molding according to one embodiment of the present invention is obtained by integrally forming a resin-containing molding body 52 and reinforcement ribs 53. The reinforcement ribs protrude from one main surface of the molding body. A rib-reinforced molding according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises: a laminated base material in which base material layers are laminated on one another; and rib members that contain reinforcement fibers and a thermoplastic resin and that serve as reinforcement ribs disposed inside the laminated base material. One of the main surfaces of the rib-reinforced molding has formed therein protruding ridges that correspond to the outer shapes of the rib members 300. The reinforcement ribs contain reinforcement fibers and a thermoplastic resin. The reinforcement fibers include continuous fibers that are disposed along the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement ribs. The reinforcement ribs are preferably each a fiber-reinforced resin pultrusion molded body, in which a fiber sheet containing a resin is folded amorphously, and the resin is filled inside the folded fiber sheet and between the folds of the fiber sheet and is formed integrally.
