Abstract:
A rice cooker capable of preventing a finger from being caught in a gap formed when the lid body is opened. A rice cooker is provided with a rice cooker body (2) and a lid body (3) which is pivotably attached to the rice cooker body (2) by a hinge section (4) provided to the rice cooker body (2). The lid body (3) has an exterior cover section (30) which, when the lid body (3) becomes opened, moves while covering the exterior surface (21) of the hinge section (4). The exterior surface (21) of the hinge section (4) of the rice cooker body (2) is formed in a shape which protrudes in a circular arc shape which extends along and close to the trajectory (L) of movement of the exterior cover section (30) of the lid body (3).
