Abstract:
A rice cooker comprising: a main body (1) comprising an inside case (6) having an opening (6a) in the upper section thereof; an inner pot (7) having a flange (7a) attached to a rim section of the opening (6a) of the inside case (6), and removably housed in the inside case (6); a ring-shaped elastic member (20) having heat insulating properties and being arranged on the rim section of the opening (6a) of the inside case (6) so as to come in contact with the bottom surface of the flange (7a) of the inner pot (7); and a holding ring (21) holding the elastic member (20). The elastic member (20) comprises: a ring-shaped base section (20a) that comes in contact with the bottom surface of the flange (7a) of the inner pot (7); and a projected section (20b) that projects outwards along the entire perimeter, from this ring-shaped base section (20a). The projected section (20b) is arranged so as to be sandwiched between and fixed by the holding ring (21) and the inside case (6), along the entire perimeter.
