Abstract:
A rice cooker is provided with: an inner pot (3) open at the top; a body (1) having an inner pot receiving section (1a) for receiving the inner port (3); and a heat generating wire (11a) provided to the inner pot receiving section (1a) and heating the side face of the inner pot (3). The heat generating wire (11a) has folds (11A4, 11A5) at which the heat generating wire (11a) is folded to form folded-back portions arranged in tiers in the vertical direction of the inner pot (3). One end of the heat generating wire (11a) is extended in the direction opposite to the direction in which the other end of the heat generating wire (11a) is extended.
