Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rice grade determination and quality management system using artificial intelligence, and a method therefor, the system being capable of quickly and accurately determining the grade of rice by using image processing through a plurality of CCD cameras and artificial intelligence, and comprising: an index table (4), which has a shaft provided at the center of a plate (2) and is rotated by means of a servomotor (3); a rice input hopper (5) and a moisture meter (6), which are provided above a base (1); a plurality of rice supply parts (8)(9) provided below the rice input hopper (5); a horizontal bar (10) for uniformly spreading discharged rice (7) on the upper surface of the index table (4); first and second cameras (11) and an infrared camera (13) , which are provided above the base (1); first, second, and third ring lamps (14)(15)(16), which are provided below the cameras (11)(12)(13) and illuminate the rice (7) moving along the index table (4); color chart parts (21)(22)(23), which are rotated at a right angle (90°) toward lower parts of the cameras (11)(12)(13) by means of step motors (17)(18)(19) so as to provide a reference luminance to the respective cameras (11)(12)(13) and return (0°); a scraper (24), which is provided to the base (1) and moves and discharges determination-completed rice through a discharge hopper (25) on the outside of the base (1); a roller brush (26) and a brush motor (27), which are provided to the base (1) and adsorb and clean off rice bran, rice powder, foreign substances, and the like stuck to the upper surface of the index table (4); and a dust collection duct (28), a controller (29), and an artificial intelligence unit (30), which are provided above the roller brush (26).
