Abstract:
The rice steamer (1) is provided with: an electromagnetic cooker (200) for electromagnetic induction heating; and a rice steamer unit (100) to be disposed on the electromagnetic cooker when rice is steamed. The electromagnetic cooker (200) is configured to perform a rice-steaming operation in response to a control signal from the rice steamer unit (100), and stop the rice-steaming operation when the control signal cannot be received for a prescribed time. Thereby, the rice steamer can avoid a situation wherein the electromagnetic cooker (200) is unable to correctly perform the prescribed rice-steaming operation, even when the control signal for controlling rice-steaming is not properly transmitted during the rice-streaming operation.
