Abstract:

　In order to prevent a film-shaped burr from adhering between mating faces, the present invention provides a rigid core for tire forming, provided with an annular core body having on an outer surface thereof a tire molding face for forming a green tire. The core body comprises a plurality of core segments divided in a circumferential direction, end faces on both sides of each core segment in the circumferential direction are configured as mating faces, and the core body is formed by arranging adjacent mating faces so as to abut each other in the circumferential direction. A bordering recess extending along an external peripheral edge of the mating faces is formed by cutting out a corner part of each mating face against the tire molding face.
