Abstract:
The invention relates to a rigid, hermetic container comprising a volumetric shrinking device. The operating principle of said device consists in eliminating the air in the container by means of an integrated autonomous air extractor (11). The internal vacuum created in this way automatically causes the mobile structural elements (8) of the container to shrink, thus accompanying the volumetric shrinking of the container as the air is extracted. Simultaneously, the automatic blocking mechanism (13, 14) gradually locks the new volumetric configuration of the container. The inventive device can be adapted to different containers used for transporting or storing material, objects or goods enclosing an extractable quantity of air.
