Abstract:
Provided is a rim replacement device that is for a tire testing machine and that, while having a simple and space-conserving configuration, can without difficulty rotate a turntable having a plurality of rim-carrying sections, and can favorably identify a plurality of rim assemblies set at the turntable. In the present invention, a turntable (55) is provided to a support section rotatably around a rotational axis, a plurality of rim-carrying sections (56) at which rim assemblies are disposed are provided around the rotational axis of the turntable (55), and a reading unit is attached to the support section below the turntable (55). Also, through the turntable (55), the reading unit reads rim identification information of the rim assemblies carried at the rim-carrying sections (56) at a predetermined reading position. As a result, it is possible to favorably read the identification information of the rim assemblies without hindering the rotation of the turntable (55).
