Abstract:
This risk assessment assistance device (1A) comprises: a calculation unit which receives layout information pertaining to the layouts of a robot and robot surrounding objects and robot control information pertaining to a control for the robot, and calculates solutions for the position of the robot, the positions of devices other than the robot, and the operation of the robot on the basis of an evaluation function including terms that indicate the size of an area in which a robot system, which includes the robot and the devices, is installed; and an output processing unit (15) which outputs the robot control information and the layout information that indicates the solution at the time when risks for the robot system are included in an allowable range.
