Abstract:
A risk evaluating device (3) for risk evaluation in a steam plant comprises: a diagnostic result storage unit (323) that accumulates and stores diagnostic results from a plurality of cycles for individual items of process equipment provided in a piping system in a designated steam plant, the results being accumulated and stored in association with the installation location of said process equipment; and a risk information calculation unit (33) that calculates risk information relating to the risk of the process equipment in said installation location on the basis of the diagnostic results of successive process equipment provided in the designated installation location. The risk information calculation unit (33) calculates, as risk information, a risk index value that indicates the likelihood of failure of the process equipment in the installation location, and a reliability level that indicates the certainty of said risk index value.
