Abstract:
This river water level and flow rate calculating device (1) is provided with: a roughness coefficient calculating means (32) for calculating a roughness coefficient for each data assimilation point using a roughness coefficient calculating formula; a roughness coefficient interpolating means (33) for interpolating the roughness coefficient for each data assimilation point; a water level calculating means (34, 37) for calculating the water level for each calculation grid, using a continuity equation in a one-dimensional field; a flow rate calculating means (35, 38) for calculating the flow rate for each calculation grid using an equation of motion; and a convergence determining means (36, 39) for repeatedly causing variables such as the roughness coefficient, the flow rate and the water level for each calculation grid to be calculated until said variables converge.
